Manchester City confident Sergio Aguero will be fit for Leicester clash despite health scare

MANCHESTER CITY are confident Sergio Aguero will be OK for Saturday’s trip to Leicester despite his health scare this week.

The Argentina striker, 29, fainted at half-time of his national side’s friendly against Nigeria in Russia.
After initial checks in Krasnodar, he arrived back in Manchester yesterday morning after being given permission to fly.

And he will be monitored by City’s medical staff over the coming days to see if they can discover what caused the dizziness.

But City are confident there is no major problem and boss Pep Guardiola will want him in his squad for the King Power trip.

Aguero, now the club’s record goalscorer on 179, had continued his excellent form by netting for his country before the scare.

City have a hectic schedule between now and the end of the year and Guardiola may choose to start with Gabriel Jesus against the Foxes and give Aguero time to recover.
