LIFE is the Livelihood Improvement Family Enterprise,  an initiative developed by HM @AuduOgbeh to empower youth and women in rural & suburban areas.

The meeting reviewed the programme objectives; discussed the comparative crop advantage and peculiar situations in the pilot states; identified key stakeholders in each state; exchanged ideas on the best approach to implementation and for the ultimate success of the programme.

The #LIFE programme primarily aims to promote community-based on-farm and off-farm agribusiness activities as a model for job and wealth creation among unemployed youth and women in rural and suburban households; and to promote FGN's Economic  Recovery and Growth Plan – ERGP.
We need to have a good understanding of the peculiarities of crops in each state in order to provide specific interventions suitable for each community - #LIFE programme Consultant, Ms. @kekebongos, addressing regional & state Directors at the stakeholders' meeting.

Director, Agricultural Extension Services - Mrs. Karima Babangida under whose department the #LIFE programme is domiciled and coordinated at the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
